This season, MC2Design collaborated with creative friend Kerry China, the resident artist at prominent The Current Gallery, Nassau, Bahamas to create the 2017 Holiday Gift Boxes. Taking inspiration from Japanese art, street fashion and eastern influenced abstractions, MC2Design was attracted to the delineated, vibrant and beautifully chaotic artworks of Kerry China. Resulting in an innovative and idiosyncratic take on beauty packaging, MC2Design has fashioned a fun and striking gift packaging that will steal your heart and gift you healthy and youthful looking skin.... for the one you want to spoil.

Kerry China is the resident artist at the renowned The Current Gallery - Nassau Bahamas. Canadian born to Italian parents, Kerry now resides in Bahamas full time and is a certified Ashtanga and gravity yoga Instructor as well as a successful contemporary dancer. Kerry made the transition to the Bahamas ten years ago after finding inspiration for her creativity and affective environment in the lush, energetic and vibrant Bahamian island setting. Her work reflects synergistic balances between chaos and simplicity, colour and depth and her own gift of creative practicality. Kerry works predominantly in non-objective abstraction, using line and colour to achieve a sense of movement. Her dance background becomes evident in the techniques Kerry uses when engaging with her materials whether it be small or large scale art works. She often experiments with non-traditional surfaces such as wood, fabric, textiles, objects from nature and architectural materials.
There is an obvious synergy between MC2Design and Kerry’s creative style and their unique collaboration has resulted in a lifetime friendship and mutual creative appreciation.

Currently, more than 50 countries have adopted medicinal cannabis programmes while Canada, Uruguay and 15 US states have legalized its recreational use, with Mexico and Luxembourg having political debates as to whether to follow that path. - UN News & UN CND (Commission on Narcotic Drugs)
This market shift toward the wider cultural acceptance of therapeutic cannabis is finding consumer brands rushing to market to fulfil marketplace demands with unsufficient scientific alignment. The reality is, and many science institutions (FDA, UK Commission, WHO) have agreed, that there has not been sufficient testing, length of study, nor broad-scope subjective data collected on longterm human effects that is available to us today.
